Welcome to our first Friends' Newsletter and an extra special welcome to any recently subscribed Friends.
We were delighted to see those of you who could come to our last concert on 2 April. Thank you, too, if you filled out one of our survey forms, it's really helpful to know how our publicity reaches you. I'm Jenny Knowles, a non-singer and wife of tenor Richard, and I look after publicity for the choir. This newsletter is a first, and we hope you like the format - please let me know if you have any comments or feedback.

...not least on how Olivia managed to find an organist at such short notice...! Our Music for Reflection concert, only Olivia's third as our Conductor and Musical Director, was a success despite Covid depletions and last minute changes to the programme. Perhaps, in these times, such glitches can be forgiven as the end result was a hugely enjoyable and poignant evening. A special thanks to gifted guest musicians Michael Butterfield (organ) and Isobel Howard (below, solo violin).

We have several new members of the Choir, and we warmly welcome them. If you are interested in joining us and have some choral singing experience, or are studying music and would like to gain some experience, please get in touch. We are an audition ensemble but don't let that put you off!
Our committee members are all volunteers and we are a registered charity. You can contact us with comments, questions or suggestions as we love getting to know our audience! We now have a Twitter account, @HorshamChoir and you can find us on Facebook.
There are other ways you can get involved with us, by volunteering some of your time to help with publicity or on the day. If you run a business, would you consider sponsoring us for a performance or season, as others have done in the past? We'd love to hear from you.
